Mr. Bobby N. Butler, son of Larry "Gator" Rivers, is a U.S. Army Airborne Combat Veteran and Serial Entrepreneur. With over 25 years of business experience and leadership, Bobby has successfully launched and scaled his business in government contracting, and logistics. As a former military NCO, paratrooper, and logistician and supply chain expert, he applies his leadership skills to ensure that the Gator Ball Academy provides structured, disciplined, and high-impact programs for young athletes.
Mrs. Jean Brown-Rivers, wife of the late Larry "Gator" Rivers, leads the foundation with a strong emphasis on community engagement, operational excellence, and mentorship. She is committed to continuing Larry's legacy by ensuring the academy serves as a pillar of empowerment for the youth.
Mrs. Rivers is also a former Chatham County Georgia Commissioner and Educator.
Ashawn Butler, Executive Director at Rocket and former Wayne State college football standout contributes expertise in youth development and program management, ensuring that Gator Ball Academy fosters personal growth and success beyond sports.
A former Harlem Globetrotter legend, Bruce Capers brings a wealth of experience in athletic training and mentorship. His knowledge of professional basketball and coaching is instrumental in developing high-performance leadership programs for aspiring players and professionals.
